Electro-Term/Hollingsworth is a leading US manufacturer of solderless terminals and a distributor of electrical accessories. In 2008, the company became employee-owned through the generous gift of its founder. This site is dedicated to the memory of him. Warren Smith (1942 – 2008) started the business in 1977 with a vision, heart and focus of providing direct service, quality and solutions. We intend to keep that vision alive in our direct service, that heart beating with quality and continued focus on solutions for you, our customer.

Mission Statement

QUALITY: Our terminals are manufactured in the USA using 100% copper and pure tin plating. From start to finish our processes are inspected and approved to UL, CSA and MIL standard SAE7928. Our Quality control team is committed to maintaining the highest standard.

SERVICE: Direct service, quality, and solutions are our business. The sales team strives to provide this service with knowledge, active listening, a positive attitude, and a friendly smile. Our Tooling and Engineering team members are available to assist you with any challenge. Their extensive experience, product development and creativity will provide the solution to your need. The manufacturing, warehouse and support teams are focused on our company wide goal - To Make A Difference. Our team welcomes the opportunity to accomplish that difference for our customers.

COMMUNITY: As an employee-owned company we take great pride in being a good neighbor. In addition to providing jobs to our community, we understand the responsibility of providing food, shelter and hope to the less fortunate. Giving back is a character value we embrace and a passion for the members of our team. We fulfill this obligation through our support to Lorraine’s Food and Soup Kitchen, Springfield Habitat for Humanity and other organizations helping those in need.
